December 3rd .. Meeting great grandparents for 1st time...

My Grandparents were in Perth for a few days from the country. They were dying to see and meet "Little Lucia", so we went over there for tea for that night, along with my cousin.

It was a good night, and they were both thrilled with Lucia. She was such a pleasant baby that night and wide awake and alert. Unfortunately I didn't get any photos of her with my Pop, but managed to get one good one with my Nan. We had dinner, while Lucia was fast sleep in the rocker so it was a relaxing night with them. Tyler even went for a swim in the pool as my Dad had to get some leaves out, so Tyler jumped in there with him. It was certainly not pool weather, but nothing stops Tyler from jumping in the pool.

They had no plans of coming to Perth for Christmas, but now they have changed their mind, so they get to share with us, Lucia's first Christmas. How sweet is this.

2nd December .. Cooking ..

Once again, it was just the two of us... now whats next on the Christmas List that needs to be done! I was not allowed to do what I wanted to do, I had to do something with Tyler!

So, he wanted to do some cooking!! What? Hello? I don't hear this from him very often! So, in order to make something, I had to go to the shops, and he hates going to the shops. But in order to do some cooking, I needed some ingredients. So lucky Lucia was still awake, went up to the local IGA and managed to get everything we needed.

So, after feeding Lucia and putting her down for her nap, we made some Choc Truffle Balls, and some caramel slice. While we were down at IGA they had some noodle boxes, so brought some of these, and made three of these for Tyler's Pre Primary teachers, all with hand made tags and etc ( I forgot to get some photos of these ), as I made some Xmas cards, using felt for the xmas tree on the card. There was not much left over after we nibbled on them, gave some to Mark and Tyler for morning tea. So, due to popularity, I've been requested to double the double receipe! I've had a request from the teachers for the receipe for the caramel slice. Its such a easy receipe and it never lasts very long in our family.

1st December ... Xmas Tree ...

I know I'm behind already! But I've made a deal with myself to update my BLOG on a regular basis during December, so I can keep a track of what is going on....

My husband went to a work party on Saturday night, so I took the opportunity to spend some real quality time with Tyler while Lucia was asleep. So, we decided to put up the Christmas Tree and watch Deck the halls DVD.. what a great night it was! And drinking pretend xmas drinks and eating xmas lollies. Tyler really enjoyed it.

He put up the Christmas Tree with such pride... taking time to figure out where all the branches go, as you have to read the letters. So, after all the branches where on, he then took the time to put up the tinsel, then the decorations and then I helped him put the lights on.

We were doing this from 7.30pm till about 11pm, and at about 10pm, he said, this doesn't look like a Christmas Tree.... its go no presents! So, managed to find a few presents to wrap up and put under the tree and then he was rapt. He eventually went to bed, dreaming about Christmas!

I didn't even take any photos of this... I was disappointed, but I am sure I'll remember this night for a while, just precious time between Mother and Son.

Its nearly Christmas......

Thought that I better to do a update before I know it, its Christmas!

All is going well here, thou I am walking around like a zombie on some days, as little Lucia just won't sleep at night time. I've tried everything in the evenings to make her a bit more worn out and sleep the night but no such luck! Guess she is just a super "Early Morning Owl" that I am going to have to hopefully can get her out of it within a few more days or weeks!

Update on Lucia

She was on a very demanding feeding schedule just prior to last weekend (17 & 18th November), feeding almost every 2 to 2.5 hrs. So, I said to Mum I can't keep on doing this, so she offered to help me out, as everytime I picked her up, she just wanted a feed. So, over the weekend managed to stretch out her feeds to 3.5 to 4 hrs. Night times are still a bit of a problem, but we will have to work on that bit.

I took her up to the chemist to get her weight checked and was absoutly shocked, that she is now weighing in at 10lb 3oz! So, as the clinic sister said, she can definately go on 4 hrly feeds. So, will take her in again next week to see how she is going with going on 4 hrly feeds.

She's starting to be alert more often, following our hands with her eyes, and just taking in the surroundings. Loves being on the beds (this could be due to we have no carpets in the house), and stares for ages at bright coloured walls. I really enjoyed the time she was awake last night, starting to grasp for things, and also we all went for a walk / ride around the block.

I don't seem to have much luck with photographing the 3 of them together!!!! These are some of their attempts... but they are both determined to get the correct one!

This is how I found them both on Saturday morning. I had to wake up Tyler for Tee Ball, but at the same time, I needed to go and have a shower, so told Mark that Lucia is with Tyler in bed, and then jumped into the shower. When I got out, this is how I found them both! How Sweet is it.Tyler had his School Assembly last Wednesday. They sang a song about farm animals that was sung by the Indians in North America. Was a brilliant and well done item, considering they are only 5 year olds. I thought they wouldn't perform as good as they did. Well done kids.

We are forecasting a hot weekend, but we've really got nothing much planned. Taking it easy until things start to get hetic over the next few more weekends!!!

Am heading over to the scrapbooking shop today! I am so missing it, and want to get into the Christmas Spirits with the kids too. So, thought to make something with them....

Update on little Lucia....

Thought it was time to do a update on "Little Lucia"

All seems to be going quiet well. I'm happy with the way things are progressing. Had the Child Health Nurse visit at the end of last week, and Lucia has put on just under 300 grams in 5 days, so she suggested that I cut back on her feeding to 3.5 to 4 hrs. I thought great, I might be able to get some more sleep during the night, as I've been waking her up! Since then, she's been on strictly 3 hrs, trying to stretch it out but just no luck!

Tyler is loving having a little sister around. He is probably too helpful, but then again I do have to watch him with her around. He's pretty good with her considering, but he's trying to play with her, so I do have to jump in and say "Hey, settle down mate". He is forever saying that "Little Lucia is so sweet" "Mum, I love little Lucia", "Mum she's cute", and when he says things like this, it really makes my heart melt. I must take a good photo of the two of them, so I can scrapbook this.

Mum has been a great help since I've been home. And also considering I had a C-Section, she's demanding that I put my feet up and let the world go by. She's been over almost every day, doing the washing, cleaning, and just being there for me. Dad was over one day, and he was bored (waiting for some repairs on the coach in our area), so he decides to mow the lawn, do some front and backyard maintenance. So, from the bottom of my heart I say "Thanks to them both". They have gone to Tasmania today for two weeks and Mum is going to miss Lucia for sure.

Just now that with Lucia home, am finding that I have to be a bit more prepared. The boys have been great in the mornings to get themselves ready for school if I am feeding Lucia, but I do wonder how long that this is going to go on for! Its too good to be true! LOL.

Well, I better go now and sign off, so I can get Tyler in the bath before Mark is home and I have already precooked dinner, so that won't be too much of a hassle.

Early Arrival...

We are both proud to annouce the safe and early arrival of

"Lucia Stella Macri" born on Tuesday 23rd October at 5.36am at King Edwards Memorial Hopsital. 7pd, 6oz, both daughter and mother doing well.

She was born at 37 weeks and 1 day. All is going well really, thou she's got a bit of jaundice, so am feeding her more frequently.

Ended up discharging myself from the hopsital yesterday, and of course she kept me awake every 2.5hrs for a feed. But she slept great inbetween the feeds so was able to still get a good night sleep considering.

All is going really well so far, and she certainly loves her sleep.

Will update more when I get the chance and the time.

Its getting closer...

Well, the questions certainly haven't stopped now! How much more longer to go.. when is it due? So, I must have really popped out in the last week or so, for people to asking me when is it due!

Even the boys are in question mode too... but there's are alot more complex! Oh geez Tyler is only 5 and already asking "Who is going to look after Toby?" Huh.. he is a dog, and I am sure he can just live his normal life! Are we still going to get to play Tee ball? Do training? geez relax boys I am sure we can work all this out when the time comes!

Had Tee Ball on the weekend. It was a wet and cold morning, but it was just windy, rain and then a bit of sun, so it wasn't too bad at all. Tyler really enjoys Tee ball, and just really picked up on it so he was happy when they won once again! 23 to 21. Will share some photos, just hope blogger is nice to me today.

It was our "Wedding Anniversary" on the 18th October, and guess who forgot! ME ME.. so its definately my pregnancy hormones, as I'm always the one to remember! Was gobsmacked when my hubby of 4 years brought home these lovely bunch of roses as he is usually the one to forget! So, we decided to head to Sizzlers for tea, as the boys have been wanting to go there for ages, and it was a lovely meal.

After dinner, putted the boys to bed, Mark actually confessed to me, that someone reminded him! Grrrr.. but anyway, its the thoughts that count isn't it. But there was also a lovely message in the card, about the upcoming birth, which I thought was really sweet of him.

Then yesterday, 21st October, it was Mark's birthday... he finally got the Yo Yo case that he has been dreaming of for so long, so I will take a photo of this once Mark has got all of his collection of Coca Cola Yo Yo's in it. He's been collecting these for as long as I have known him, and he's been wanting to be able to display his favourite collection, but to find a yo yo display case, I had to ask someone personally. So, I finally got around to asking a good friend of ours, and he made one for us for me to give him, and then he gave him one for his birthday, so he got two after all. Was happy with the presents. Went into Fremantle to grab some fish and chips, went into spotlight, priceline to grab a few things, then had a ice cream and then home. So, was a good day out, and the boys were brilliant, and also good chance to catch up with Mum too.

Well, I guess I must sign off and cut this short to go and put the load on the line before I go and pick up the boys from school.

School is back....

I don't know what I should be feeling.... happy or sad that they have gone back to school, but isn't it so nice just to be able to have the house back to yourself. They have trashed it, turned the house upside down for the last two weeks that I didn't even bother cleaning it. So... guess what I will be doing today???


Tyler wasn't really that impressed with going back to school, thou he didn't make a fuss or anything like I thought he would. He just had a real sad face this morning, but once he got to school he was fine! Which I knew he would be... He's been really clingly lately, so perhaps he's just got alot on his mind now, and also with the baby coming and also with me going into hopsital. He's still got a bit of fear of hospitals, but I keep on reassuring him, that I will be coming home.


I was up till 1am this morning doing the catch up with all the paperwork for the GST and the BAS.. amazing how much paperwork there is when you leave it all till the last minute! As usually I do it month by month, but time just flew and the next thing is its DUE!!! So, am up to date now, paid all the bills YUCK and feel happy with myself, knowing that I have completed another horrible task.


Am not sleeping at all that good at the moment... its the blast HEAT that is getting to me. Am not heavy or uncomfortable or anything like that.. its the heat. I wake up in sweat.. must remind Mark when he gets home tnte to get the fan out of the shed as it might give me a bit of relief tnte.


The boys had their first game of Tee Ball over the weekend. It was such a classic watching it and I really enjoyed it. It was just funny watching the young ones, and also with them not knowing what to do.. of course all the parents are screaming out to the kids run, grab the ball, run to the next base and etc, but they must all have their minds somewhere else and not concentrating on the game! But really it's only their first game, so I am sure time will tell. It was certainly a warm day. Tyler's team won 27 runs to 21 so they were happy.


The weather has came up quiet warm over the weekend, so we made the most of it. Ended up being outside all Sunday morning, and just cleaning up around the patio area for summer! Can't wait... Ended up getting the water pressure out, and cleaning the pavers, and you should have seen the difference in the colour! Amazing. So, cleaned all that out, BBQ area, outside fridge and freezer, dog bedding and etc so its so clean out there now. All ready for summer. Hope so. Because of the land developments on the front side of our house, we were getting all the winds and sand, so we hardly to sit outside last summer. Hopefully now that they have planted lupins, and don't seem to be getting so much sand winds, we might be able to enjoy it more this year.


Tyler was a great helper to me yesterday morning, as still putting things away from cleaning the patio, that he has been begging me for oobleck or gloop or whatever you want to call it, I gave in and let him do it! He had a blast, so will share some photos with you!

Holiady Update...

Its been so relaxing this week! That I have been able to put my feet up a bit more ...

On Monday I had a good friend over for some scrapbooking retail therapy, and I really enjoyed it. The boys all played wonderful together, and they all finally hit the bed at 10pm and then we scrapped till about 1am, so it was lovely! We didn't get much done, but hey whats new! We were supposed to go to a "Mega Fun Day" at Gloucester Park, but the weather was just terrible.

On Tuesday, had my check up appointment at King Eddies.. all went well. Tyler went to a friends house, so didn't have to entertain him for the day! It was just a day for me to spend with Mum. Picked up Tyler about 2pm and then headed home, as he had Tee-Ball training at 4pm, so picked up his uniforms and all ready for Saturday 8am! There goes my Saturday morning sleep ins now.

Yesterday it was just a relaxing day at home. I was expecting Tyler to be a real "winger" but I think he must have needed the day at home. Just asked me nicely if we could go down to the DVD shop to get a movie and a game, and I thought, geez thats a good idea... so I ended up getting "Are we done yet" isn't that a funny classic movie. Both my husband, Tyler and myself just laughed thro this so much, that I really enjoyed it.

My pregnancy hormones must have kicked in on Tuesday. Firstly I left all the keys to the house in Mum's car.. as we went home and swapped cars and I left them all in the glove box! So, after picking up Tyler at 2pm, we had to go all the way back to Mum's to get the keys out of the other car glove box! And also because Tee Ball training is usually held at the Tee Ball oval on Wednesdays, they wanted to change the training day to Tuesday and train at the school oval because of the coach is working. So, thought yep thats fine... so what did I do... go all the way to the Tee ball oval which is about a 20 min drive. Thought geez thats strange no one is there! It wasn't until I re-read the text message and training was at the school. And now the school is only a 2 min drive! Grr.. got told of by Tyler - "Why didn't you read and check the SMS before you left home"

Heading into Spotlight today for the Cannington opening, and then heading into Carousel as Scooby Doo is appearing at 11am, so will be a good morning out. Have to be back home ASAP which I have promised him, so he can play his game. But he's excited about Scooby Doo appearing at Carousel.

I've done some scrappin...

Thought it was time to share them.... The photos are not the best, as I was trying to avoid the flash, but gave up at the end anyway!

So, I've done 2 posts today, I must be bored! LOL but seriously I've just been doing some spring cleaning and trying to catch up and put things away, and also Mark was sick this morning, and I couldn't refuse the opportunity to get out the front and do some spring cleaning, so I ended up cleaning up all the cobwebs, the spiders and etc and sprayed it all with outdoor Cintrollea so in the future when we turn the lights on outside, it won't all be covered with mozzies and spiders and cobwebs! But boy did that wear me out... and then ended up crashing on the sofa and watching Bathurst 1000 all day!!! But at least I got to put my feet up at the end.

Tyler is still on one more week of holidays. I'm trying to plan something for every day, just to keep him out of mischief and stop him from saying "I've got no one to play with" but seriously, he's got things to do once he has distracted himself. He got into his transformer box and he's been playing with them for nearly 3 to 4 hours. Amazing what he can do once he has got himself focus on this but poor Mark and I, we've been building them all afternoon too!! But he's happy and content with it at the moment.

Well must go now and help prepare dinner.

I'm already...

Now just waiting for "Squishy" to arrive!! I am sure you can see by the photos what sex is it now....

Went to Ikea on Friday to pick up some Lack Cube Shelves.. and then on to Innaloo to pick up the pram.. and we managed to score a bargain after all, as they had all baby and nursery stuff at 20% off.. so we were able to save $60.00! What a deal. Ended up getting the 3 wheel stroller made by Fisher Price. Its a massive pram, but I think in a years time, it won't be so big!

Have done all the washing, putted everything away in all the draws, and have even managed to pack the hopsital bag! Only just brought the bag from Target so thought while I was folding and putting everything away, that I would pack the hopsital bag with nappies & clothes that I wanted.

Finally feel that I am prepared for this.... even Tyler is playing the waiting game now. He even said to me the other day.. all we need now is for Squishy to arrive! LOL.. I just had to crack up on that one.

As you can see from one of the photos is a "Nappy Cake", it looks like a cake, but it is actually full of Huggies Infant Nappies, face washers, clothes, blankets and etc. I still have not got around to opening it yet, it looks too beautiful to pull apart. This is one of the gifts that I got from the baby shower.

Its Holidays Mode...

Been a while.. so whats my excuse this time??

Since the last post, I've done nothing much really, just slowly getting things ready for "Squishy" room. As I am typing, I'm looking on to the patio clothes line and its full of "Squishy" clothes. I'm feeling a bit more prepared now, and guess now its just a matter of me picking up the pram on layby and going into Ikea to get some shelves or bookcase or whatever. Both my grandparents and my aunty gave me some money, and I've decided I don't need any more clothes or something, so thought why not to get the bookshelf, as it will always be in the room for many years to come. So, might venture out there on my own on Friday while Mark is home to look after the boys, or go out on Saturday... who knows!!!

Have got another check up on Tuesday for Squishy, and hopefully I'll get somewhere at this appointment. I even rang them and requested a "English Speaking Dr", as before it was some asian dr who between Mum and myself, we could not understand a word she was staying! How bad is this for a public hospital. So, had to ring up and change the appointment date anyway. I am now 34 weeks, so hopefully I can get a date booked for the caserean. I'm getting heavy and getting bigger, but am still comfortable. Just night times are a bit of a struggle with sleeping, but then again what is new!

The weather is certainly starting to look really good now.. its a beaut day today, and did intend on taking the kids down to the Freo Dog Beach, but my sister wanted me to look after her eldest daughter, so plans went down the drain for today. Perhaps tmrw.. who knows. So, on Monday, being a long weekend, we drove down to Mandurah for the day, had lovely fish and chips by the foreshore, ice cream at Simmo's for the boys and then we drove thro Secret Harbour on the way home. It was a lovely day and I really enjoyed it. Ended up that evening at Tee ball for Brandan for his training. And then home for a BBQ dinner.

Guess what!!! I've even done more scrapbooking lately! Its getting kinda scary now that squishy is coming before I know it, and I've got mountains of photos to scrap of everyone! So, thought why not to do them now quicky, at least they are away in the albums. I'm really happy with some of them, they are just super quick and easy to do! So, have completed about 8 of them, and will share them on my next post. I feel rapt to have done these as want to be able to keep up with doing scrapbooking when squishy arrives.

The Royal Show is on in Perth, but I don't think I'll go.... who knows thou we've been given some free tickets so I guess it depends on how Mark and I feel on Saturday and if we want to go. I'll rather try and find someone to look after Tyler, and just have a relaxing day looking at the exhibitions. Depends on the weather too. Guess I am just fussy. Might ask Mum to have him.

I'm still alive and kicking.. WARNING LONG POST!!!

Shocking.... Shocking I know...

But I've had a lot of personal problem lately.. so I've decided to just go off on my own, too much has been happening around me, and I am slowly starting to find my own feet again!! But I am really thankful to one person, the person who I love and supports me with whatever decision I make. Thanks Mark.


So much has happened since I last updated... but I think I'll just bore you all if I was to tell you excatly everything that has been happening, so I'll start with what is stored in my brain first!


Firstly.. the boys have finished their footy, and had the presentations and wind ups and etc. I think personally Tyler was looking forward to it finishing, the weather has just been a shocker on Sundays, and he seems to really hated it at the end. I was just constantly dragging him out of bed, and I felt like a bad mother, but now that it has finished, the weather has warmed up heaps, he's kinda sad that it is finished, but they are always playing footy out the front with the neighbours so it isn't too bad after all! I'll share some photos here of the proud little boy...

On the pregnancy front, everything seems to be going well. I had my check up this morning, and he was a bit concerned that I am not putting on enough weight!! But really, comparing this pregnancy to Tyler is just so different, only because I am alot more careful, walking, and just looking after myself, as I don't want to put on so much weight. So, I am just taking it one day and a time, and he also suggested me to eat bigger lunches, as I don't seem to suffer so much with what I eat for lunch! So, today, I ended up making a Tuna Mornay... YUM! I am also carrying "Squishy" down quiet low, so that was another cause of concern, but I've been like this pretty much when I started to feel the movements. So, have another check up in a few weeks time, and will see how things are then. I am now 31 weeks, so hard to believe that I am going to be holding another bubba soon! But really, he said, apart from all that, everything else was progressing well. Have another check up at 34 weeks.




We went down to Fremantle Beach a few weeks back to try and get some decent family photos. I'm rapt with the photos.... I even got one with Tyler kissing "Squishy" as I want to document some of the things he's been saying to me .... will share this layout for sure, as I've got ideas in my head!! Got a brilliant photo of the boys with Mark.. will treasure this photo. Also managed to find someone to take some photos of us all as a family so I've just got them all developed and hopefully will get back into scrapbooking soon.

On the school side of it, everything seems to be going really well. Tyler is loving school, and he is just loving reading!! He's really got the ability to learn now, comparing to the start of the year, where I don't think he was taking in what was happening at school. But he's so fluent with his alphabets, numbers and reading, that he's just so keen to learn more and more. He's got a love of jigsaw puzzles lately, so thank goodness this is where the local library comes into handy!

Tyler had their school photos done today. I was surprised that this would be the first time that Master School Portraits have offered a sepia & black and white photos! Who could refuse this offer.. would be so much more easy to scrap sepia and black and white photos comparing this to normal school colour photos! So, had to order it today, so they had their photos today, so I can't wait!

I have not done much on the scrapbooking side of it, even though I have done a few layouts here and there, but really none of them are completed and finished! But I've got a thing in the back of my head that I want to finish and prepare the baby's room first, so that is off my mind!

My good friend from school is holding a baby shower for me, with just friends from school, thought this was lovely of her to do it! So, she's asked me what else I need... so I shouldn't have to buy much more in between now and then! Also my sister and mum have given me a pram, which I thought was so nice of them both!

Mark started a new run today within Courier Australia, so he's now working a lot more longer hours... again the downside of this is when I wanted him around home, especially with the birth of the baby, he isn't going to be around, but I am sure my Mum and my friends will be here when I need them. I'm happy that he's started a new run, as he was getting a bit bored with his old run, coming home for morning tea and lunches so he wanted a full time job with a bit of a challenge.

Holidays is over...

Holidays is again over!

Though it was kinda sad to see Tyler go back to school, as I really did enjoy my holidays with him. I think its because its going to be the last holidays that I really can get to enjoy with him before the 2nd one arrives. As next school holidays I'll be around 36/37 weeks pregnant.

We did so much in such a short time, that I made sure that we had something to do almost every day. During the second week, Mark was off on holidays, so on the Tuesday we went down to Rockingham and had lunch on the foreshore, beaut day for it. After lunch we all went for a walk down the foreshore while the boys were playing on the play equipment, swings and just being boys. After that, went for a drive alone the foreshore, called into some place for a ice cream and then headed for home.

Wednesday Mark spent most of the day installing the patio, so the boys were quiet happy to play out the front for the day. Mum called in and dropped of the dog, as she is heading up to Broome & Darwin for 3 weeks on their business tour coach. Thursday the weather was just shocking, so it was a good relaxing day at home where the boys just played the PS2, watched DVD's, and also did a paper mache with a balloon. After it popping so many times when they were doing it, I eventually started it off. I even made my own glue using water and flour! Just found the receipe on the internet.

On Friday the weather came up good, so we decided to head into the city and go to the museum in Northbridge. So, we caught the train in (when was the last time we did this...) and Tyler just loved the train ride! We must have spent about 3 hours in the museum, as the boys just loved it, so much to see and do.

After spending all this time in the museum, it was nice to step outside into some fresh air and get away from all that chit chatter of the other kids. It was also amazing to see all these kids running around inside... I guess some parents and kids just don't show any respect for the muesum or the heritage of it. We grabbed some lunch, did little shopping and then jumped back on to the train and headed back for home. That night we decided to head to Brooklands Pub with the two boys, and surprisely they both loved it. Might become a regular occurance now, as the boys like going to the pub and chatting and playing with other kids.

Went to Auskick on Sunday for Tyler's football. Another shocking weather on Sunday, but I finally managed to grab some photos, they are not the best, but I guess I just have to keep on trying. Its just so wet and windy, and I'm trying to get some action photos but its getting hard when I don't know how to use the sports settings on my camera! Help Help

Boys will be boys....

Well... well... now I'm outnumbered!!! I always have been... so I guess that doesn't really matter does it!

Tyler, Ethan, Finn & the dog... BOYS and there is only me! Please come and rescue me!

But really they are all really good. Got up this morning to fnish watching Home Alone 4.. and then I went and jumped in the shower, and this is how I just found them!!!

But thats okay really!! As the one on the couch in Simpsons PJ's has recently had his plaster off his foot, so he's not really allowed to be active! That suits the other two quiet happy!!!

Yesterday, the boys were playing out the front, and they decided to play water BOMBS.. in this weather, I thought they had to be crazy! But yep, that is excatly what they did!! Told them not to come to me if they got wet, but no.. they were really happy running around with two girls from across the road!! At the end, they ended up coming in for a early "BLUE" bath...

Time for another update!

Whats been happening... hmm nothing much really but but but I know its time for me to update!

On Monday I had another scrapbooking friend over for the day. what a great day it was.. seeing all three boys play so nicely together. I managed to complete 2 layouts - you read that right, complete two layouts, so I was happy. And I just have to put tape on the painted letters, and then I'll take a photo of it and share.

On Tuesday just hanged around for the morning, and then Tyler and i ended up going to Mum's for lunch, as Tyler wanted to spend some time with my father, before he heads up north again for work. So, had lunch, and then went to Tyler's nathropath appointment, and it all went well, and now they have put him on some broccli drops, which is suppose to make the airways alot clearer. He's been a asthmetic since about 18 months ago, but he doesn't have as no where near as many attacks now as I have taken him off alot of foods, putted him on soy milk, and he's taking magnesium tablets, but he might have the occassional espisode of wheezing, but nothing more then that.

On Wednesday, had to cancel mothers group at the last minute. Too many of the kids where sick with the flu so decided to cancel it all together and wait until everyone is well. It kinda worked out well, as my sister emailed me, and asked me to look after her boy for 2 nights and 2 days. Brilliant.. that will keep Tyler out of mischief!

So, now today is Thursday.. and its been such a nice and relaxing morning. They played the PS2 for a while this morning, and then we went outside for a walk near the new estate.. home for lunch as nachoes, and then we went down to the park and we've just got back! They are now having a ice cream and playing Chess. So relaxing isn't it.

Pregnancy is going really well... now nearly 23 weeks, and a lovely lady on eBay sent me some maternity pants, so its so much more comfortable wearing something that fits, rather then jeans or tracksuit pants! Its just so hard to try and find maternity clothes now. Might be searching on eBay more often now! So, this lady on eBay said she only worn them once, and I even offered to pay them, but she refuse. I got her address on the envelope so will send her a RAK, as they fit me (slightly too big... but but I've still got another 16 weeks to go).

Today is ...... wet & cold

Thanks for everyone who told me that Quick-eze works!! It certainly does! I've had the best good night sleep in about two weeks... thanks once again everyone!!

Its a cold and wet day, and also I am looking after Faith, so we are both just having a relaxing day at home, and she's been a busy little vegemite, that she just told me about 5 mins ago to leave her alone.. so I get to catch up with a few things on the computer. She keeps on saying that my name is Faith and her name is Jenelle! Guess its just her imagination! She's playing in Tyler bedroom with the dolls and magnets, so she's keeping herself busy!!

I've been fiddling around with my scrapbooking goodies, and I am tempted to do some scrapbooking after lunch, but will have to see how things go. The boys just scored a few more things in there scrapbooking box, stuff that I got as freebies, but have never used them and etc. So, want to start cleaning up the spare room, so hopefully when Mark is on holidays he can paint the room.

Its cold here too... so I've got the heater going, and will keep it going till the boys get home from school, and then we are off to Fast Eddies for my birthday dinner tnte.

I also got two big sheets (same as x-ray sheets) of various images of "Squishy" that its got this nickname now, after my Mum called it the other day. I was disappointed that out of about 40 images, they only put 3 of these on the CD. But this one is the best.

A long post...

I know... I'm a real BAD Blogger.. but lately life has just gotten in the way with me!

Unfortunately for me, I still haven't done any scrapbooking! I just don't know where my time is going... so I'm slowly trying to get back into it, unfortunately the boys got into all my gear last night while I was trying to set myself up, so they just took over and making birthday cards for our dog Toby, and also birthday card for myself (I just pretended that I didn't see them!) So, after sending them off to bed before 9pm last night, cleaning up there mess, which is worst then mine, I didn't feel like it after all!

Its the tax time... so I've been spending a hour here and hour there trying to finalize all the paperwork, pay the super, work out the amounts for GST and BAS, so that when its due next week, I can pay and get it out of the way next week. Because my hubby is a courier driver, we just have so many small petrol receipts, and have to put them manually into program, really drives me NUTS!

Tyler was off school all last week with asthma/flu/cough and running nose... so I think it finally hit our household last week.. I was ill with a sore throat and head colds, but with me being pregant, I can't take much apart from pandol, but lucky it only last three days!!! And then got it again the following weekend but recovered pretty quick!

Had the big ultra scan on last Friday, and everyone is going well.... I've been told what the sex is, but unfortunately I do not wish to reveal it as there is some people out here who wish not to know until its born! I had to bring Tyler with me to the scan, and of course he was full of questions, but good experience for him to know what is going on.. and NO NO he doesn't know what it is.... as she typed it on the computer for me, so Tyler wouldn't find out what it was!

Its only another week or so till the school holidays starts here... don't know if I am looking forward to it, or what.. but I guess time will tell!!! Hubby has got the second week off, so at least we might do a few things while he is around.

Well.. must sign off.. and you'll here from me when I get back into scrapbooking!

Advice Wanted...

Can anyone tell me why does suffering from heart burn and indigestion have to be so painful while pregnant!!

Usually when I get heartburn, usually a drink of milk resolves it immediately, but indigestion, is just more painful!

I've lost more weight, because I'm not eating as much.. so went to Coles to get some Gaviscon and Quick-Eze... does anyone know if these work or not?
